When in a new city for the first time, often you think "Where's the cool
part of town? Where do the locals love?" specifically while
away this summer we would ask "What's the St.Kilda of this city?" and
the other day it struck me as how lucky I am to live in the actual St.Kilda
and that I can call such a cool part of town my home. The other day I
had the chance to show off our little area to some new friends from
Sydney and I was reminded of some of the great things about it; forever
bumping into old friends, very good
coffee, traditional jewish bagels, and my dog. Despite constantly pining for foreign cities and far off lands, I really do love the place I live.
